Commercial Energy Performance Certificates

Commercial Energy Performance Certificates are required upon construction, sale or lease for all non-dwellings, covering everything from small retail units to offices, industrial units and large scale commercial premises such as airports and public buildings.

We deal with the whole spectrum of the Commercial Property market including:

• Commercial EPCs  for existing buildings* (Any size – Levels 3/4/5) 
• Commercial EPCs for new builds (On Construction)* (Any size – Levels 3/4/5)
• Display Energy Certificates

• An on-site full Energy survey
• Information gathering and research necessary
• Data entry into the Government database (SBEM)
• An electronic copy of the certificate and a Recommendation Report
• Full support and advice is provided for the validity of the EPC (10 years)

 

Air Conditioning Energy Inspections

By 4 January 2011 all air conditioning systems over 12kW must have their first inspection.

The trigger for air conditioning systems inspections is the size (effective rated output) of the system not the type of building and so the measures apply to homes, commercial and public buildings. We will arrange for one of our accredited energy assessors to provide a report which includes an assessment of efficiency, a review of their sizing and advice on improvements or replacements and alternative solutions.
